LMA believes in making our community a better place. Our commitment to our community can be seen in our partnership with local non-profits like Winchester Rescue Mission.

In 2021, Winchester Rescue Mission came to us with a vision and a property on Valley Avenue - a former industrial building with potential to become something transformative. The Mission was quickly outgrowing its existing location close to downtown and needed more space to serve our community.

Over four years, we navigated changing zoning ordinances, corridor enhancement requirements, and building code challenges to turn that vision into reality.

This project was a labor of love. What we partnered to create is a place for people to grow, heal, and learn in our community - a comprehensive facility that expanded the Mission's capacity to provide emergency shelter, transitional housing, and wraparound services to Winchester's most vulnerable populations.
