[Multi-Family Housing/Apartments]
For Madison Village Apartments, LMA designed a single, refined building type intended from the start for repeated build-outs, and the developer did exactly that, installing 272 apartments for Frederick County residents from one adaptable design. Each apartment has its own private balcony, made possible by a clever move: tucking HVAC units into exterior closets to free up outdoor living space. The buildings take their place in a community organized around a clubhouse, pool, and central playground, where denser living and open communal space thrive side by side.
