Carl's Corner

[Multi-Family Housing/Apartments]

Carl's Corner is the "brother" of nearby Harrison Plaza. The two projects share a developer, a family story behind their names, and the same proven floor plans. This time, LMA was invited to refine the design and give Carl's Corner its own identity with a new facade mixing brick, stone, and siding. The project also grew beyond housing: working with the developer's push, encouraged by the city, for more mixed-use construction, LMA designed an adjoining commercial building ready for three to five tenants, a shopping and business center serving both residents and the surrounding neighborhood. All told: 81 apartments for 135-plus residents across three buildings, with the makings of a small community at the corner.
