[Multi-Family Housing/Apartments]

Not every project starts with a blank page. For this Winchester community, the developer arrived with the design already in hand, LMA was brought on to complete a thorough code review and finish the documentation, carrying the project through permitting and construction. Along the way, LMA designed a communal pavilion scaled to the project, giving its 90 residents a shared gathering place. The 54 apartments across two buildings range from one to two bedrooms, each with private access to a deck, organized around central stairs serving 12 units from the main level to the third floor. It's the quieter side of architecture: making sure a good idea stands up to code, and gets built.
