Cottage Glen

Cottage Glen is where LMA's story and Winchester's need for senior housing met early. One of the firm's first residential communities, the project answered a growing demand for accessible single-family homes with a deceptively simple system: four base designs, varied in layout and facade so each of the 28 homes has individual character, while staying efficient to build. Every home is designed for independent senior living: at-grade entrances, a wheelchair-accessible main-level primary suite, and open kitchens with pantries, with upstairs bedrooms and storage ready for visiting family or the keepsakes of downsizing. Built out over several years by two developers, Cottage Glen proved a model the firm still believes in, and both developers still work with LMA today.
